The Glass Ceiling Commission - Assorted PDF-formatted articles that offer a variety of viewpoints on how the glass ceiling - as it affects women and other minorities - is a barrier in the workplace.

Homelands - Listings of countries or groups of people worldwide who are trying to recover their homelands. The site includes information about the countries as well as publications, media and links having to do with their struggles. Information is arranged geographically.

International Council for Canadian Studies - "The International Council for Canadian Studies (ICCS) is a federation of twenty national and multi-national Canadian Studies associations, governed by an Executive Council and an elected four-member Executive Committee. Its mandate is to promote and support research, education and publications in all fields of Canadian Studies and in all countries." This site contains information about the federation and links to its members Web sites, scholarship and fellowship information, and links to resources related to Canadian Studies.

Inventors Assistance League Multicultural Resource Center - Inventors Assistance League has provided biographical information about under-represented inventors, as well as recognizing what these people invented. This section also features demographical information and trends related to inventions and inventors.

Minority Affairs Forum - "Devoted to education about minority-related issues, including immigration, Affirmative Action, bilingual education, and race relations." It provides extensive coverage of immigration and Affirmative Action through links to a variety of articles on the Web representing diverse points of view.

Multi-Cultural Calendar - Holidays around the world. Search by month, holiday, country, or keywords. Many include recipes, crafts, history of holiday.

Online Resources for Canadian Heritage - "This list focuses on Internet resources pertinent to Canadian heritage in the disciplines covered by the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation: archaeology, ethnology, history (including military history and postal history), and folk culture."

Say Hello to the World - "Learn to say "hello" in over 30 different languages, plus find links to resources about the languages, the cultures, and language learning on the Web."

Tolerance.org - "The mission of Tolerance.org is to create a national community committed to human rights. Its goal is to awaken people of all ages to the problem of hate and intolerance, to equip them with the best tolerance ideas and to prompt them to act in their homes, schools, businesses and communities... Tolerance.org is structured for easy access to news, solutions and engaging exercises that teach and prompt personal soul-searching." Includes a map and profiles of hate groups in the United States; a map and profiles of U.S. human rights groups; Tolerance and Hate in the News; tests to explore your personal biases; a Civil Rights Movement exhibit; and ways to fight hate.

What is Culture? - "This Learning Topic proposes to explore the concept of human culture. Y?: The National Forum on People's Differences - "This forum ... gives you a way to ask people from other ethnic or cultural backgrounds the questions you've always been too embarrassed or uncomfortable to ask them." Questions and answers and answers evaluated by the Y? staff. On some topics Y? experts weigh in on questions. "The National Forum On People's Differences has no agenda or cause, other than to get people talking across their differences." Archive of past questions, answers, and expert opinion. Research/Coursework Center allows students to post questions on diversity and related issues, and appropriate answers are posted.
