PRESBYTERORUM ORDINIS  
(Decree on the Ministry and Life of Priest)

As the title suggests, the decree treats Priesthood into two main areas: ministry and life.  In the same way, Vatican II’s call for renewal addresses itself to: one, personal life of the Priest; two, the life of the priest in relation on his ministry.  It would be much better to follow the spirit of the document’s presentation.  The Principles, although spread throughout the document, are significantly stressed in its treatment on priestly life in relation to others (ministry).  The other Salient Points are founded in the document’s concern of the life of the priest in relation to his personal vocation.
